"My heart is SO FULL. On the morning of 4/26/21 we welcomed to the world Summer Moon Honey Davies, weighing in at 6lbs 12 oz," she wrote. "Almost 24 hours after being induced, my blood pressure was extremely elevated. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, which has now turned into HELLP syndrome. My doctor said I was lucky, and we caught this just in time to treat as it’s very unusual to be caught so late, in postpartum. Until this morning I was on a magnesium drip that made me extremely lethargic and flu-like, shivering uncontrollably to the point where I felt like I was seizing. Having not caught this condition in time, that would have been likely. I am still being monitored closely for elevated liver enzymes and low blood platelets and not sure how much longer we will be here. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and sent their love and thank you to the amazing staff here at Cedars-Sinai. We are definitely feeling all the feels and just so excited to be Summer’s parents!!"

Her rep added in an email to The Daily Dish that "Scheana Shay and partner Brock Honey Davies are elated to announce the birth of their daughter."

Brock added on Instagram, "Baby mamma is doing great, baby and daddy are holding down the room for mamma...... Thank you everyone who reached out and the amazing staff."

Scheana first confirmed she was pregnant back in October, just months after she opened up about suffering from a miscarriage in June 2020. In November, she revealed that she and Brock were expecting a baby girl: "I can't wait to put the biggest bows in her hair and shower her with unicorns and rainbows!"

Brock was also excited to become a dad again. On Instagram, after she shared the baby news, he gushed: "If I know what love is it’s because of you!"

In true Scheana style, she kept fans in the know on every aspect of her pregnancy, from sonograms to celebrations to even the criticism she faced along the way. Oh, and, before she was even born, Scheana's baby already had an Instagram of her own, so like mother like daughter.

Scheana and Brock began dating in October 2019 — and during her pregnancy, Scheana confirmed she was not in a rush to marry Brock.

In an interview with Bravo Insideraround the time of their one year anniversaryin late 2020, she said,"It’s been a roller coaster, honestly. We’ve been through morein a year of our relationshipthan I think I’ve been in. Obviously,my marriage [to Mike Shay] that was a seven-year relationship, there was a ton we went through together, but any other relationship I’ve been in has not had this many, I don’t wanna say bumps in the road, but we went through traveling the world and a pandemic to moving in together within the first six months, to a miscarriage, to moving in together again in San Diego. There’s been a lot of hurdles, but everything that we’ve been through has made our relationship that much stronger, and we’re in a really good place, and we’re really happy."

Scheana Shay Reveals Why "There's No FOMO"While She’s Pregnant

Later on, she opened up to The Daily Dish about the lessons she learned about herself during her pregnancy.

"I mean I've always known that I'm a very strong person, But to get pregnant so shortly after a miscarriage, that was really challenging. And it was really scary in the beginning. And I've just learned that, I can get through anything, even something so terrible as losing a baby," she said. " But I think that I wouldn't be able to so easily if I didn't have such a great support system. I mean Brock and my family have been amazing. And just being pregnant in a pandemic, it has its bonuses where you don't have the FOMO.But at the same time it's like I didn't get to do [certain things].I was thankful that I was able to do a shower at all and we had everyone test and it was safe. But to know those things that you kind of miss out on because you need to be safe and you need to make sure that you're taking the right precautions. But I think I've just learned that I'm a very strong person and I can get through anything."
